Austin Hospital is a leading upper GI centre and one of the largest public bariatric units in the country. Here, he trained in the medical and surgical management of bariatric patients, performing sleeve gastrectomy, Roux-en-Y bypass and revisional surgeries. He also consolidated his experience in oesophagogastric and Hiatal operations including those related to oesophageal dysmotility.
Queen Elizabeth Hospital is one of the highest volume Oesophagogastric resection units in the UK. Here, he was involved in nearly 150 resections including reoperations, performing over 70% of these cases.
